A Serene Vietnamese Buddhist Temple in McKinney

✨Following the navigation, I discovered this temple tucked away on a small lane off University Drive, surprisingly close to downtown McKinney. Just a couple of intersections away lies a bustling plaza with several supermarkets, full of life and energy. 🥰Though I frequently drive along the busy University Drive, I only recently learned about this temple—perhaps because Woodlawn Road is narrow and hidden, flanked by trees. As I turned in, Google Maps announced my arrival, but I had to ask a lawn-mowing gentleman for directions. He pointed me further inside. ✔️I arrived around 10 AM, and there weren’t many vehicles around. The gray building at the back sells vegetarian meals. The temple grounds are adorned with lotus ponds, small sculptures, pavilions, bells, and inscribed stone slabs, all reflecting the reverence and dedication of its designers and builders.
