Dallas | Review of an Old-School Barbecue Spot Ranked Among the World
During my trip to Dallas, I finally got to try the famous Hutchins BBQ! With over 5,000 reviews on Google, it still holds an impressive 4.5-star rating. The confidence is clear—right on the big sign outside, it proudly says “Top 50 BBQ Joints in the World”! The line was extremely long, and you really need patience. I even avoided going on a busy weekend, but I still ended up waiting over 40 minutes in the chilly wind! 🤦🏼♀️ But wow—their beef ribs and brisket are truly delicious! A big, bold moment of culinary joy, with tears of happiness! The meat was tender and juicy, perfectly balanced between lean and fatty, incredibly soft yet packed with rich flavor and seasoning. It was absolutely worth the trip—no wonder it’s ranked among the world’s top 50. I’ve heard their fried fish is also highly recommended, along with stuffed jalapeños. If you’re going with a group, promise me you’ll order a bit of everything to try! 🤣 This old-school Texas barbecue spot is located northeast of Dallas, in a small town called McKinney—a charming, historic little tourist town with a downtown that’s just a few streets long. 📍 Hutchins BBQ 1301 N Tennessee St, McKinney, TX 75069 #McKinney#McKinneylife#McKinneyfood#foodguide#BBQ#travelguide#McKinneyguide
