A Short Salt Lake City City Walk đď¸
Before heading to Yellowstone, we took a stroll around Salt Lake City. Since we were staying near the city library, we started there and walked to Temple Square. The streets werenât too crowded, and while there were some homeless people along the way, it felt relatively safe. We left around 9:30 AM and reached the library entrance by 9:40 AM. After taking some photos and lingering outside (it opens at 10 AM), we headed in. The SLC City Hall is beautifulâwould be a comfortable spot to sit and relax! Following the route toward Three Pins Coffee, we passed several attractions along the way. Food & Drinks âď¸ Three Pins Coffee ⢠Iced Matcha Latte with sweet syrup ~$8 A bit pricey, but the matcha flavor was excellentâsmooth and rich. Maybe because I was thirsty, but the first sip was amazing! 𤣠đĽ Evaâs Bakery ~$20 ⢠Quiche Lorraine: Savory and decentâI skipped the sides. ⢠Fruit Tart: Sweet but not overly heavy; the fresh fruit stood out. Mostly paid for the aesthetics! đ Pho 33 ⢠Pho 33 (small) ~$13 Originally wanted a medium, but since weâd just had brunch, the small was perfect. Portion was generousâenough to fill you up if youâre not starving! ⢠Egg Rolls: Recommended on Redditâcrispy but not greasy, served with a tangy dipping sauce. Definitely worth ordering. Attractions Short on time, we only covered a few spots in about 1.5 hours. đ Salt Lake City Public Library Spacious and beautifully designed. The 4th floor offers mountain views, though distant and hazy this seasonâbetter to shoot outdoors. Stumbled upon the Yale Art Galleryâs Balm collection on one floorâfelt surreal! đ° Youâre Here Art Installation Near Evaâs Bakery and Temple Square. Didnât go inside, but the exterior was creatively crafted. đ Salt Lake City Tabernacle Arrived around noon near Temple Square (temple under renovation). Volunteer guides in black dresses with US flag pins mentioned the 30-minute organ recitalâworth catching if timed right! #SaltLakeCityTravel #SLCFood #TravelMemories #UrbanExplore #CityWalk #LibraryVibes #LocalEats
