It's truly breathtaking ๐ญ ๐ Transportation: If you're starting from Nagoya, you can first take the JR train to Takayama Station, then transfer to a bus. ๐ฟ๐ The whole journey takes about 2.5 to 3 hours. If you're starting from Kanazawa, take the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Kanazawa, then transfer to the Nohi Bus. It'll take you about 1.5 hours to get there. ๐๐ ๐ Attractions: Gassho-zukuri Village: The largest Gassho-zukuri village in Japan, with over 100 Gassho-style houses scattered beautifully. The houses are all oriented in the same direction to help the snow melt better. It's incredibly impressive! ๐ก ๐ฟ๐ Shirakawa-go Viewpoint: If you want to overlook the entire village, this spot is a must-see! From up high, the village is surrounded by tranquility and beauty.
