A Solid Stay with Room for Improvement 🏙️🏨

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this modern downtown hotel. We specifically booked a corner room to enjoy the views and requested a top-floor placement. While we had reserved a higher floor, we were assigned to the 10th level—not quite what we hoped for, but the city views were still enjoyable 🌆. The room felt fresh and contemporary with vibrant accents and polished concrete floors. The bathroom was bright and stylish, featuring black fixtures against crisp white tiles 🚿. As expected in a bustling downtown New Orleans location, some street noise found its way up—one night we were woken by shouting below. Perhaps upgraded windows could help future guests sleep more soundly 😴. Our main issue was with the in-room "cooler" rather than a true refrigerator. We reported that it wasn’t chilling properly, and while the friendly front desk staff assured us it was fixed, we noticed no improvement—a bit disappointing for keeping drinks and snacks 🥤. The staff throughout the hotel were consistently helpful and kind. Breakfast at the attached café was hit-or-miss: two mornings were delicious, while the third fell short on quality. Be prepared for very slow service ⏳.
