A Sunny Sunday in Ulm, Germany 🌞🏰
On Sundays in Germany, shops are usually closed, so I was worried about finding food and drinks . But turns out, many places near the cathedral and town hall were open—cafés, bars, and restaurants! Germans really know how to relax—sipping drinks outside from morning till night 🍻☕. Come visit Ulm! Fewer crowds, huge portions 😋. The only downside? Not everyone speaks English 🗣️. We ate at a traditional German restaurant across from the town hall—clearly a local favorite, not a tourist trap. Families and friends gathered there for meals. Drive time: ~1h from Stuttgart Park near the spring (tiny town = easy walk) Electric-blue waters + charming Altstadt (2hrs max) Bonus: Stumble upon a handicraft market (like Herbstfest)! 🎪 The roasted pork knuckle with sour potato mash and a beer set was just over €20—totally worth it! The beer was homemade (they even had brewing equipment inside) and delicious 🍖. #SunnyDay #Ulm #Germany 🇩🇪
