A superb restaurant found by chance.
Name: Ristorante La Falterona 📍 Via Giovan Battista Zannoni, 10/12R, 50123 Firenze FI Located near the Central Market, the specialty here in Florence seems to be Tuscan cuisine. After returning from Pisa quite late, I looked for a restaurant that stayed open late. The Google reviews were great, and it turned out to be incredibly delicious.👍 We ordered three dishes for around €145, including a T-bone steak weighing over 1kg, the specialty appetizer shown in Figure 4, and seafood pasta. Before the steak was served, they showed us the raw steak, which made ordering from the menu much more convenient. There were three menus in total—one with pictures, one with prices, and one for drinks. Three dishes were already quite a lot, but we really wanted to try the specialties. The steak was ordered medium-rare, charcoal-grilled, with a soft interior and crispy exterior that was incredibly fragrant and not at all greasy. I don't know the name of the dish in Figure 4, but it was raw beef with no gamey taste at all! It was tender, chewy, and very satisfying. I highly recommend it; you'd regret not trying it. The service was excellent👍, comparable to what you'd expect at a Michelin-starred restaurant. #food #studyingintheUK #Italiancuisine #Florence #Tuscany #UKuniversity
