A truly delicious restaurant❗️
It’s listed online, but the reviews are few and far between🥹 Another evening dining with friends, and this Japanese restaurant is really well-hidden. The decor is very Japanese, and both the servers and chefs are Japanese— the service is exceptionally good. They introduce each dish in detail, explaining the ingredients and preparation methods when serving. It’s just a bit unusual to see them bowing all the time. The dining atmosphere is great though. 😊 📍 The restaurant is called “Il Cuore.” It’s a bit far from the city center, located near the Boboli Gardens and the Porta Romana. Make sure to book in advance, book in advance, book in advance! 🌟 🍜 Rice Kakumi Don and Udon con Kakumi These two dishes taste the same; the only difference is that the udon has added wakame seaweed. The pork belly is stewed until it’s incredibly tender and melts in your mouth. It’s fatty but not greasy at all. The flavor is slightly sweet and very light, which really satisfied my preference for mild flavors.😌 🌟 Sea Bream Rice Nitsuke Orata Don The sea bream has a magical taste—it’s sweet and quite unique. If you’re a fish lover, you should definitely give it a try.🐟 🌟 Sashimi platter Sashimi misto 4x4 This platter consists of 16 pieces of sashimi made from four different types of fish: sweet shrimp, salmon, sea bream, and mackerel. Personally, I didn’t like the taste of sea bream and mackerel, so I only had the sweet shrimp and salmon. But let me tell you, they were amazing! So delicious! 🍣 🌟 Fried chicken🍗 The chicken is so tender and juicy! The skin is crispy, while the inside is soft and full of flavor. Fried food really does bring joy to us carbon-based beings. 😋 🌟 Japanese plum wine 9️⃣🥂 It’s so sweet and delightful! No one had ever told me that Japanese plum wine could be this good! The waiter explained that the higher the alcohol content, the sweeter the wine. We three friends originally only ordered two glasses of the lowest alcohol level to try, but we were instantly won over. My friend then ordered a glass with a higher alcohol content and price, which was even sweeter. 🥂 🌟 Matcha ice cream with red bean paste Daifuku 🍙 & Matcha ice cream with red bean paste Dorayaki The matcha flavor is super strong, but surprisingly, it’s not bitter at all! Paired with the red bean paste, the combination of the matcha’s aroma and the sweetness of the red beans creates a flavor explosion on the taste buds. Friends who love sweets must try it! The red bean Daifuku is also divine, with slightly grainy red bean paste that’s incredibly fragrant. The red bean Dorayaki is good too, although a bit dry. Matcha is just perfect with red beans! 🍵 #Florence #FlorenceFood #FlorenceRestaurantRecommendations #DaySatisfiedWithFood #FoodRecommendations
