A Wonderful Night at The Courthouse Hotel! 🏛️

We chose The Courthouse Hotel mainly for its unbeatable location near the Palace Theatre (we’re not fans of hunting for taxis or navigating the Tube after a show!), and it absolutely delivered. Even before we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to learn our room had been upgraded from a double to a superior king 🛏️💫. We arrived a bit early, dropped off our luggage, and were warmly checked in. The front desk staff were helpful and kind—setting a positive tone right from the start. Our room was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable—like a sweet anniversary cake celebrating our special stay! The bed, pillows, and duvet were soft and cloud-like, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. 🧴🍰 Yes, the location is tucked away, with limited views on three sides—only the front facing the Liberty Theatre offers a real scene, and there’s some street noise. Our room overlooked the back of the theatre… but who cares? You’re just 50 yards from the Palace Theatre and a mere 20 feet from the stage door if that’s your thing! 🎭📍 The hotel—formerly the Great Marlborough Street Magistrates' Court—is steeped in history. The wonderful James gave us a warm and engaging tour of the waiting areas, preserved courtrooms, and three beautifully converted lounges near the bar. It felt like stepping into London’s storied past. 📜🍸 The show was brilliant, our sleep was deep and restful, the shower and bath were top-notch, and breakfast was satisfying and well-served. 🛁🍳 All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the public areas were clean and full of character. I never felt the hotel was dated—it’s a product of its era, and why strip away all that charm for some bland, corporate look with no soul? We truly loved our stay at The Courthouse Hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to return. ❤️ #CourthouseHotel #LondonStay #HistoricHotel #TheatreWeekend #RoomUpgrade
