A Wonderful Weekend Stay! 🌊🏨💫

We spent a relaxing weekend here, arriving late on Friday evening. Our journey was already a highlight—we took a Thames Uber Boat 🚤 which dropped us off just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. So convenient and such a scenic way to enter the city! 🏙️ Smooth & Speedy Check-In The reception staff were quick, friendly, and efficient. They got us checked in smoothly and guided us clearly to our room. A great start to our stay! 🛏️ Room Review: Comfort with Minor Quirks Our room was a good size, and we appreciated the in-suite coffee machine and fridge ☕🧴. It was also pleasantly quiet—we couldn’t hear noise from other guests or outside, which made for a restful sleep 😴. That said, a few small details could be improved: More power sockets needed 🔌, especially near the bed. The duvet and cover didn’t match well—the cover felt like a king-size, but the duvet inside was more of a double. Thankfully, the weather was warm so it wasn’t a big issue! The room was generally clean, but we did notice several long dark hairs around the shower 🚿. A deeper clean would be ideal. Decor felt slightly dated but functional. The bathroom was well-lit with plenty of mirrors 💡🪞. 🏊 Pool & Spa Area We visited the pool and spa area when it wasn’t busy. The pool is a decent size—good for actual swimming, not just lounging! 🏊‍♀️ However, the sauna and steam room are located inside the separate male/female changing rooms, which meant my wife and I couldn’t enjoy them together. A unisex wellness area would be a nice upgrade for couples 👫. One small hiccup: the elevator to the pool was out of service with no sign posted. We waited several minutes before realizing and taking the stairs. Not a major issue for us, but better communication would help! The staff at the spa were lovely—friendly and helpful, showing us how to use the lockers and facilities. 🌟 Location & Ambiance The hotel sits right by the harbor—so picturesque! 🌅 A short stroll through the lovely courtyard or along the water leads you to the overground station. Perfect for exploring the city! 🏷️ Final Thoughts & Tags A comfortable stay with a fantastic location and mostly great facilities. With a few small tweaks, this would be a flawless experience! #HarbourView #WeekendGetaway #UKHotel #CityBreak #SpaRetreat #TravelNotes
