In Philly restaurants, appetizers really outshine the mains — maybe I should just order apps from now on, LOL! 🥇 Chicken Liver Toast This was SO! FREAKING! GOOD! Silky, rich liver pâté topped with jam and crunchy nuts — savory, sweet, tangy all in one bite. Hands down the best chicken liver toast I’ve had! 😍 🍄 Fried Mushrooms Gave off "upscale night market snack" vibes — crispy outside, tender inside, with a delicious dipping sauce. Gone in seconds! 🦆 Duck Leg / Duck Breast (Main Courses) Duck Leg: Way too salty! 🧂 Might’ve been over-marinated, but they kindly replaced it after I mentioned it. Duck Breast: My friend liked it, but I wasn’t into the distinct “duck-y” taste 😅. Many people recommend it though — maybe it varies daily. 🦪 Scallop (Main Course) Relatively the best among the mains — tender scallops with tasty sides, but still not as memorable as the appetizers, haha. 🍰 Dessert (Paris–Brest) Crispy, nutty choux pastry — plus they added a birthday candle when I mentioned it was my friend’s special day 🎂!
