Absolutely in Love with This Picture-Perfect Restaurant 🄢

🌟Flipping through my photo album, I realized I haven’t shared my visit to this hidden gem. Nestled on Charlotte St, a street where the ā€œgods of diningā€ collide (with other popular spots like Circolo Popolare, The Ninth, etc.), this place specializes in Georgian cuisine, a less prominent culinary tradition in London’s restaurant scene. Yet, it was packed to the brims on the night I went, a testament to its popularity. 🌟The dishes are perfect for sharing, and everything we ordered was a hit. The green grape scallops, beef tartare in bread, and truffle cheese bake are must-tries. The first two dishes were a refreshing contrast, and the bake was so good that we used it to scoop up every last bit of sauce on the plate. The Georgian dumplings, which look like Chinese xiaolongbao, didn’t quite live up to the hype; the skin was thick and they were served lukewarm. Maybe I was a bit too critical, comparing them to my beloved xiaolongbao. 🌟The main courses were so good that my dining companion and I made room for dessert, despite our full stomachs. The pumpkin pie with ice cream, topped with a red berry sauce (I can’t remember which), was delicious and showcased the restaurant’s high standards. What’s particularly impressive is the lighting design at the tables, which is perfect for food photography enthusiasts. If you’re into capturing the perfect food shot, this place is not to be missed. šŸš• Kinkally Average spend: Ā£75 #LondonLife #London #LondonFood #UK #LondonFoodExploration #LondonRestaurants #LondonDiscoveries #LondonEatsAndDrinks #WhatToEatInLondon #LondonFoodieCheckIn
