After tasting the pork knuckle đ¤, I was moved to tears!
The First Time I Saw This Pork Knuckle Photo, I Knew I Had to Try This Place Coincidentally, the restaurantâMOya (supposedly serving Slovak cuisine)âwas right along the road to town, hidden behind an unassuming storefront. The waiter was a thin, somewhat elegant yet aloof older gentlemanâpolite but not exactly warm.đđđ I ordered the pork knuckle and duck leg for my kid and me. The duck was decent but not mind-blowing (side note: the roast duck at Quod on High Street is truly exceptional, though I canât quite remember the spelling).đđđ But the pork knuckle? One bite and I was soldâtender, fall-off-the-bone meat with crispy, fragrant skin. Underneath was a layer of stir-fried cabbage that tasted almost Chinese. At that moment, all I wanted was a bowl of rice to go with it! Sadly, the side was creamy potatoesâdelicious, but still no match for steamed rice. For dessert, I initially felt a twinge of disappointment when it arrivedâit looked like a typical overly sweet British tiramisu. But one spoonful revealed a light, cake-like texture with just the right amount of sweetness. Highly recommend!â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸ This might just become my new regular spot. Another happy day well spent. #LifeIsAnAdventure #StudyInTheUK #Oxford #UK #HiddenGemRestaurant #FoodieLife
