My Life in Europe

MyPhotographyDiary Day 17 in Europe, still on a group tour. Departed from Prague, Czechia, took a bus through Slovakia to Hungary. 🇸🇰 Highlights in Slovakia Saw the iconic bronze statue Cumil in Bratislava's old town—the most famous landmark created by local artist Viktor Hulik. Shaped like a helmeted worker, this "Sewer Worker Gumi" is the most photographed statue in the city 👷♂️. Also visited the "Stray Soldier" statue wearing a Napoleonic hat and overcoat, hunched over a bench. With half his face hidden by the brim, it's hard to tell if he's triumphant or downcast. Legend says he was a Napoleonic soldier who stayed in Slovakia after getting separated from his unit, now a whimsical photo companion for visitors 🎩. Spotted a landmark sign: "7,433 km from Beijing"—that's incredibly far! 🌍 🌆 Evening in Budapest Arrived at dusk to an ancient city glowing in sunset—explored its food culture, historic architecture, and thermal bath traditions. Strolling along the Danube, though it wasn't "blue," I hummed The Blue Danube while watching boats pass, silently thinking: "I'm finally here, Danube!" 🌉🎵 #AbroadExperience #CulturalDifferences #OffbeatCountryTravel #GlobalWanderlust
