After walking past 800 times...

I finally mustered the courage to step through the doors of mc. Every time I passed by the mc entrance, the dim lighting seemed incredibly sophisticated, almost like a “no strangers allowed” vibe. But this time, I finally worked up the courage to go inside. It’s said to be an English-style steakhouse, and there were many elegantly dressed elderly grandparents dining, which was very British indeed. 🏷️ The menu offers 2/3 courses options, which is great for those who are indecisive. Although there are time restrictions on the menu, you can still order even if it’s past the time slot. I went for the 2 courses option because after finishing, I realized there was no room for dessert, so I had to give it a miss. 🪩 I recommend the starter with Stilton cheese mushrooms and the Angus ribeye. The ribeye was thick and the meat was tender with a pinkish center. In comparison, the sirloin was tough and much smaller. The cocktail shrimp didn’t taste as good as the ones at M&S to me. 📝 After choosing the steak, you’ll be asked to select the doneness and sauce. As for the wedge dressing, I chose the salad dressing, so for those with a bigger appetite, you can order two sides of potato dishes. 📷 The lighting inside is dim, but the warm glow of candles creates a nice ambiance, which is perfect for birthday photos for the ladies. 📍Miller&Carter Steakhouse (The set menu is around £30 per person) #100RestaurantChallenge #UnitedKingdom #Steakhouse #BritishSteak #AtmosphericBritishRestaurants #BritishRestaurantExploration #BritishRestaurantRecommendations #AtmosphericPhotos #MyNewYearWellnessRitual #RestaurantRecommendations
