AKM’s New Exhibition on the Infinite Possibilities of “Light”

Last week, I returned to my happy hometown, Toronto, and took the opportunity to visit the Aga Khan Museum’s 10th-anniversary special exhibition with my bestie. The last time I came to this museum was about 5 years ago when I specifically came to see the giant moon 🌕. Unexpectedly, after a few years, I happened to visit again when the 🌕 was being re-exhibited and had become part of the Light special exhibition. I won’t spoil the specifics of Light here, but in summary, it’s about “what you see may not be real; the world in front of you is a projection of your inner self.” 🌕 I recommend hiring a guide for a 1-hour tour when you visit the exhibition (Jane, the guide, is particularly expressive and engaging. The cost is 10 CAD per person) to help you understand the museum’s brief history and the core ideas of the exhibition. Exhibition Full Name: Light — Visionary Perspectives🌕 Tip: You can check out the 3D tour on the official website to see if you’re interested in the layout of the exhibition area and the theme of the exhibits. However, since there are many interactive audio-visual and lighting contents on site, it’s best to experience it in person. It’s also great for taking photos! The half-circle of red maple trees 🍁 outside the museum is super beautiful! No need to go to Ren Xianqi Park~ Exhibition End Time 🕐 April 21, 2025 #WantToCaptureThisMoment #ArtExplorationGroup #ArtWandering #TorontoLife #AgaKhanMuseum
