🌟 Alaska Fairbanks Borealis Basecamp

🌟 Alaska Fairbanks Borealis Basecamp 🏔️ Was super excited to stay in this aurora cabin!! Even though it’s expensive, I still couldn’t resist swiping my credit card 🥹 Pros: ✨ After seeing the photos, you probably know the biggest advantage! You can walk right outside the cabin and see the northern lights! Rest assured staying here—whenever there’s aurora activity, the front desk staff will keep calling to notify you. Even if you don’t want to watch, they’ll keep calling you 😂 ✨ Stays here are bundled with packages. You can choose different activities or pay extra for add-ons. Very convenient, but also pricey 🥹 This time we chose Dog Sledding and Walking with Reindeer. (Will share more later) ✨ The package includes aurora photo sessions. We originally thought selecting photos would cost extra, but no—all raw photos are provided. And the staff attitude was great!! Two different photographers over two nights gave our photos distinct vibes! Cons: 🫠 Room cleaning quality needs improvement. Not only were there hairs on the floor and bed, the shower gel was nearly empty! For a hotel at this price point, it should be much cleaner! 🫠 The restaurant also didn’t meet expectations—limited choices! Breakfast through dinner are all served in the same spot. 🫠 Lack of clear explanations about guest activities. Except for the initial orientation to our dome cabin, we had to ask about every other activity ourselves. Messages requesting room cleaning went completely unanswered 🙄 For theprice paid, the performance was quite disappointing. Still, I’d recommend coming here for the aurora! But once in a lifetime is enough! 📍 Borealis Basecamp https://borealisbasecamp.net/our-packages/ #AlaskaTravelGuide#AuroraDomeCabin#Fairbanks#BorealisBasecamp#LifeInNorthAmerica#Glacier#AlaskaAuroraGuide#FairbanksAlaska
