At first, the lights werenโt strong at our starting spot, but halfway through the chase, the sky exploded with auroras. Our guide pulled right over and we saw the most incredible display โจ๐. When watching from a glass cabin or lodge, there were too many clouds over the mountains โ๏ธ๐ and hardly any aurora โ dynamic chasing is definitely recommended instead. But if youโre afraid of the cold, stick to the cabin โ you can drink hot cocoa inside โโ๏ธ. Dynamic chasing is brutally cold ๐ฅถ! Bahn Thai Amazing Thai food โ the best meal of the trip ๐น๐ญ๐! Must-order: pineapple fried rice ๐๐, chicken satay ๐ข, tom yum soup ๐ฒ โ these were absolutely delicious ๐ฏ! The Crepery p13 The most famous must-try dessert ๐ฐ๐ฅ! Santa Claus House Basically a gift shop ๐๐๏ธ. For souvenirs, Iโd recommend the quirky moose-poop magnet ๐ฉ๐งฒ and the locally produced Arctic blueberry coffee โ๏ธ๐ซ. The ice cream inside is pretty good too ๐ฆ. You can send postcards internationally or domestically โ they mail them out at Christmas ๐๐ฎ โ looking forward to seeing if they arrive ๐ฌ๐ซ. Souvenirs Head to Costco for Alaskan specialties like salmon oil supplements ๐๐ โ only available in Alaska! Also huge bags of Alaskan coffee beans โ๐ซ.
