Alaska Food Finds! šŸ¦€

Alaska Food Finds! šŸ¦€ Thanks to for helping us find so many delicious eats in the icy wilderness (well, not really 🄹)! So before I forget, here’s a record to give back to the community šŸ“āœØ šŸ¦ Wild Scoops A very pretty-looking ice cream place. A waffle cone + cotton candy turns it into a Baked Alaska. The shop calls it ā€œadventurous flavor,ā€ but it’s not really adventurous and… way too rich! But still very pretty 🄹 šŸ• Moose Tooth Big thanks to for this one! If we hadn’t seen it on , we’d never have thought to eat pizza in Alaska 🤣. Said to be the third-best pizza in the U.S., and it lives up to the hype! The cheese pulls beautifully, and the crust is perfectly baked (plus it’s genuinely great value—feels like a $30 meal for just over ten bucks!) šŸ’°šŸ’Æ šŸš‚ Aurora Winter Train Food on the trainļ½ž Actually not bad at all, not as terrible as the rumors! (Or maybe our standards are low hhh, the reindeer sausage was tasty) 🦌🌭 šŸØ Pike’s Landing @ Fairbanks Went because it was next to our hotel, and I thought it was pretty decent! The crab-stuffed mushrooms were delicious (a bit heavy on the butter but very fragrant). But the Aurora Gin was basically a scam! The description said ā€œlike dancing auroraā€ with a beautiful picture, but it was just an ice cube with a tiny blinking light inside… 😔 (Should’ve seen it coming! Not sure what I was expecting… The upside is you can take the little cup home after drinkingļ½ž) šŸøšŸ’” šŸ¦€ Chowder House @ Fairbanks The most satisfying food of this trip! It didn’t disappoint! The crab roll brightened my whole day! Price-wise, it’s much cheaper than others at just $30–40, and the portions are super generous. The halibut chowder was also delicious—and I usually don’t even like creamy soups 🄹. (But if you don’t like sweet drinks… don’t order any latte… No matter how cute the staff is or how beautifully they describe it… it’s really, really sweet!) šŸžšŸ’– Ran out of space—more in the next post! āļø #alaska#AlaskaFood#fairbanks#anchorage#AlaskaTravel#Alaska
