Albuquerque|Breaking Bad Tour + Sandia Peak Tramway 🎬🚠
We left El Paso in the morning and headed north to Albuquerque just for some Breaking Bad fun! 😄 Big thanks to all the users who shared the addresses—we started our tour at Gus Fring’s famous chicken spot (Twisters), then hit up all the iconic locations in one go: The Breaking Bad Store (with a cool mini museum inside, $5 per person) The hot dog stand (unfortunately closed now 🥲) Tuco’s hideout (now a tattoo shop 💉) Walt’s car wash 🧼 We booked our Sandia Peak Tramway tickets online in advance for the 5–8 PM slot. ⏰ Before that, we made a quick stop at Costco for gas and a short break—and realized Walt’s house was on the way! So we swung by (it’s fenced off now though 🚧). We arrived at the tram around 7 PM. The trams run every 15–20 minutes 🚡, and there’s a staff member on board who answers questions. We learned that the tram used to be manually operated, and there was even a 99-year-old expert who could fix anything! Now it’s all automated. We made it back down just in time for sunset 🌅. The view from the right front side of the tram around 8 PM was absolutely stunning! It gets pretty chilly up there, so bring a light jacket. 🧥 Overall, ABQ might not have a ton to do, but for Breaking Bad fans, it’s a blast—and the tram ride is 100% worth it for the views! 👏🗻 #BreakingBad #Albuquerque #SandiaPeak #NewMexico #TravelGuide #TVTour #ScenicRide
