Alila Napa|Northern California’s Own Taste of Tuscany 🍇
Even after living in the Bay Area for so long, I hadn’t visited Napa until this long weekend — finally stayed at Alila Napa Valley and explored downtown and the wineries. Though I don’t drink, the scenery and food made it a 10/10 experience! ✨ 🏨 Alila Napa Valley Feels like one of the smaller Alila properties, but the views are gorgeous. Our window looked out over neighboring Beringer Vineyards 🍷, and the pool is surrounded by lavender and grapevines. A perfect Bay Area getaway 😌🌿 🍽️ Zuzu A home-style restaurant in downtown Napa. The shrimp and seafood paella were delicious — highly recommend! 🥳🦐 🍽️ Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch Rustic American farmhouse vibe — complete with farm decor and tractors nearby. The short ribs, chicken wings, and beef tartare were all tasty. The oysters, though, were a letdown — not recommended. 🚫🦪 🍽️ Auberge du Soleil The setting here is incredibly photogenic! The views from the window make you feel like you’ve been transported to Tuscany. ☀️🇮🇹 Reservations recommended. They offer a three-course menu — the braised beef (so tender it melts in your mouth!) is a must-try. 🏰 Castello di Amorosa The famous castle winery! If you’re like me and don’t drink but still want to see the castle, you can order their grape juice online and pick it up on-site. They have both still and sparkling versions — both delicious! 🧃💫 #USATravel #California #NapaValley #NapaWineries #NapaFood #BayAreaWeekend #WeekendGetaway #TravelCalifornia #TuscanyVibes
