All kinds of sweet and savory crepes
đ 1610 Cook St, Victoria, BC V8T 1A7 This brunch spot sits just off Victoria Downtown, and itâs all about crepesâboth sweet and savory! The place isnât big, with simple decor, but there are some outdoor seats. On a nice day, sitting outside feels so cozyâsunshine and good food? Perfect combo! âïž When we went, the place wasnât too busy, so even with just one server outside, they kept up easily. đ Ice Americano đ°5 Not the cheapest coffee around, and the taste is just âmehâânot bitter, but pretty sour, which isnât my favorite. But hey, it did the jobâwoke me right up! â â A9 Mira-Mar đ°29 This savory crepe is so goodâit tastes just like white sauce pasta, but with a crepe instead of noodles! The crepe itself is big, folded into a fan shape, and itâs soft but sturdyâdoesnât fall apart, and you can really taste the wheat as you chew. So satisfying! âThe sauce is the star: creamy basil white sauce, just like the kind youâd get with pasta. Itâs rich with cheese and milk, but not heavy or greasy. First bite is salty, then as you chew, a little sweetness lingers in your mouthâso balanced. Only downside? The shrimp and scallopsâthere are just 2 of each! For $29, thatâs pretty stingy. But at least theyâre fresh and tasty, so itâs not a total let-down. All savory crepes come with a tiny side saladâliterally a small bowl, but the sweet-tart dressing, almond slices, and a sprinkle of cheese make it nice. đ„ My friends JJ and QQ both got sweet crepes, and I tried a bite of eachâso good! The crepe batter is the same (delicious, of course), and they top it with fruit, cream, and Nutella. How could that not be amazing? đ Sweet, creamy, fruityâtotal comfort food. #Canada #CanadaFood #VancouverIsland #Victoria #Foodie #LifeSnippets #FoodTour #MyDailyLife #RestaurantRecommendation
