All-You-Can-Eat Wagyu Hot Pot Beyond Your Wildest Dreams!
My partner loves sukiyaki so much she’d travel to New York just for a good pot. I never thought Philly had a solid sukiyaki spot—until we tried Chubby Cattle in Chinatown last week. First reaction: Why did I only discover this place now?! Second reaction: Unlimited Wagyu?! This is a meat lover’s paradise. 🥩✨ 📍 146 N 10th St, Philadelphia, PA 19107 We went with the Sukiyaki + Spicy Miso dual broth. For those who prefer something lighter, there’s also Tomato Oxtail and House Broth. They’ve even recently added a Spicy Mala option — just ask if you don’t see it! Before the hot pot arrived, we tried the beef tartare and beef bone marrow from the special menu, paired with new drinks from their updated bar list. So chill~ 🍹 Their non-alcoholic mocktails are also delicious — a great option for those who don’t drink! When it comes to Wagyu: My partner adores the delicate melt-in-your-mouth texture of A5 Japanese Wagyu. As for me? Let’s just say I happily devoured both the A5 Japanese and M9 Australian Wagyu 😆 My advice: order all the Wagyu — no second thoughts. Just don’t overcook it! There’s a sauce station with raw eggs for dipping — slide that silky meat into the egg and straight into your mouth. Absolutely heavenly. 💛 The broths are flavorful enough on their own, but for those who like stronger flavors, there’s a full DIY sauce bar. Plus — unlimited milk tea ice cream! Matcha flavor is a must-try 🍵 Seafood platter included snow crab legs, crab claws, black tiger shrimp, and scallops — all fresh and satisfying. We were about to order a second round when our server recommended the new grilled chicken cartilage and chicken wings with sweet-spicy sauce. Hot pot + yakitori? Yes, please! Last time we visited, we sat upstairs and still dream about their hand rolls 🍣 (Check my previous post for a hand roll guide!) This time, we finally tried the uni and lobster rolls we missed — still excellent, though the upstairs experience feels more premium. Hand roll lovers, head to the second floor! 📌 In summary: We chose the $78/person, which includes both Japanese and Australian Wagyu. The main difference with higher-tier packages is the variety of seafood and number of special dishes. For a date night for two, the $78 option is the ultimate value pick. We noticed a membership discount on the menu — asked our server and learned: ✅ One membership covers two people ✅ Get a free premium hand roll or mocktail (worth nearly $20) ✅ Happy Hour: Mon–Thu, 5–7 PM, with discounted drinks (some even 50% off!) Sadly, we live too far to take full advantage, but if you’re in the city — don’t miss out! 🐑💸 #PhillyEats #WagyuHotPot #AllYouCanEat #SukiyakiPhilly #ChubbyCattle #PhillyFoodie #AYCE #HotPotLovers #FallFeasting
