I had an absolutely wonderful time here. The location is right across from City Hall — convenient and full of city vibes. The entrance features a wide, smooth manual roll-up gate that adds a touch of classic charm 🚪✨. Inside, the restaurant and bar are spacious, sleek, and immaculately clean. The service was professional, courteous, and timely — truly top-notch 👏😊. The food was vibrant, served hot, boldly presented, and perfectly prepared. The corn and crab chowder was hearty and well-seasoned, but the catfish and grits with maque choux stole the show — flavorful, creative, and downright addictive! I loved every bite, and the grits were absolutely delicious 🐟🌽. I had high expectations because this spot is the brainchild of the grandson of the legendary Leah Chase of Dooky Chase fame — and it definitely lived up to the legacy.
