Amazing Moroccan "Pretty Rice" & Super Tasty Duck Wings
For a first-time visit to a restaurant with a tasting menu, I never miss it—and this one at $59 per person is such a steal, especially among fine dining spots with an average cost of $50-$100! As soon as I walked in, I was drawn to the beautiful hostess—she was truly stunning! Later, the server ladies and even the food-running guys all had great looks too! 😍 Don’t underestimate this place—come with an empty stomach for sure! 💫 First Course: Trio Spread It includes chickpeas wedges (melt-in-your-mouth delicious, highly recommended!), and Broccoli Tabbouleh (loaded with lime, super tangy… and the portion is huge). Serve it with garlic yogurt, red pepper hummus, and the very unique melitzanosalata—dip them with crudites, flatbread, or berbere crisps (these are so good)! 🥙 💫 Second Course You get shishito peppers (generous portion, with peri-peri flavor), Baked Cheese (super distinctive, a must-try!), and Peri-Peri Shrimp (huge size! Chewy and tasty). The lovely server even gave us complimentary duck wings—they were incredible! It was my first time having sweet-and-savory duck wings with hummus, and the crispy chickpeas drizzled with vinaigrette were the perfect match! 🍤🦆 💫 Third Course I chose the lamb shank—it was cooked to perfection: tender, juicy, and full of flavor. A la carte, it’s $69 per serving (the portion isn’t huge, but the lamb is so tender and flavorful). It comes with a big serving of couscous salad. 🥩 💫 Desserts One was the Warm Tahini Brownie with ice cream—the halva on top tasted just like dragon’s beard candy! The other was Date Truffles, which was also delicious; the pomegranate drizzle on the surface added a slight tang. 🍫 💫 Overall Experience The dishes, cooking style, and decor all have strong Moroccan vibes. The ladies were not only beautiful but also easy to chat with—10/10! 📍 Spice Finch 220 S 17th St, Philadelphia, PA 19103 #PhiladelphiaArea #Philadelphia #PhiladelphiaLife #PhiladelphiaFood #PhiladelphiaPA #PhiladelphiaRestaurants
