American Journey: The Beauty of Nature
From September 25th to today, January 25th, I've persevered in walking 30,000 steps every day, rain or shine! ๐ช Houston is the fourth largest city in the U.S., and Telfair is a meticulously planned community in Sugar Land, Texas, filled with American-style detached houses. ๐ก Every morning, I take a walk around the lake. One lap takes 1 hour and 30 minutes, making the round trip three hours longโroughly the distance of four round trips from Shanghai's Lujiazui to the Oriental Pearl Tower. I can't help but exclaim how vast the U.S. truly is; a single community is this expansive!! (The three-hour round trip is just a part of Telfair; across Highway 59, there's an equally large community.) Life here is tranquil, with various small animals blending seamlessly with nature. The community boasts a full range of infrastructure, including elementary and middle schools, children's playgrounds, swimming pools, gyms, baseball, basketball, and tennis courts. Surrounding areas have H-E-B, Costco, Walmart supermarkets, dining, hospitals, and leisure entertainment options galore. It's also close to downtown Houston. Walking by the lake every day, watching the seasons change, I witness the same tree transform through different colors of spring green, autumn gold, winter red, and finally, reddish-brown. The enchanting scenery makes me feel as if I'm in a fairyland paradise. ๐ธ๐โ๏ธ๐ฒ #American #Natural scenery #Sugar Land
