An ABSOLUTELY Legendary Homestyle Chinese Spot 🤩

Went here on a whim yesterday, and I'm not exaggerating when I say this might be the best Chinese food I've had in or around Philadelphia. 🏆 The menu features a fantastic mix of Cantonese and Sichuan dishes. Everything was incredibly fresh, bursting with "wok hei" (that coveted wok aroma), and offered amazing value for money. The restaurant is lovingly run by the owner and her husband, who personally handle the cooking. The owner is incredibly kind and passionate about food—she knows every detail about her ingredients and cooking techniques. We ordered the Stir-fried Shredded Pork with Water Bamboo and Sautéed Pork Tripe with Green Peppers. The water bamboo was tender, the pork was flavorful, and the tripe had the perfect texture. 🤤 When we mentioned we were craving something soupy, she generously treated us to hot tea and three huge bowls of soup (a rich pork bone soup with scallops and winter melon)! It was so aromatic and packed with flavor. All this for under $50 for two—we left absolutely stuffed! I see they have many regulars, but this hidden gem truly deserves more recognition! 🥢 A bit of a drive, but totally worth it—you can even make a trip out of it by hiking at nearby Valley Forge or seeing the fall foliage! 🍁 Location: 235 Lancaster Ave, Malvern, PA 19355, United States #ChineseFood #PhillyFood #PhillyEats #PhillyHiddenGem #UPenn #ComfortFood #FoodieFind
