This beautiful spot is possibly Londonโs oldest restaurant ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ๐. It was burned down in the Great Fire of London in 1666 and later rebuilt, so no one knows its exact original founding date. In the cellar bar, you can still see charred marks on the beams from that historic fire โ a haunting yet fascinating glimpse into the past. The owner is super friendly and loves to give guests a tour of his pub after dinner โ a personal touch that makes the visit even more special! ๐งก๐จโ๐ณ We had the honor of sitting at the "celebrity table" where Charles Dickens himself used to sit โ๏ธ๐ช โ talk about dining with history!
