An Amazing Lunch! Incredible Menu & Food 🌮🍤✨
Wow! Just…wow! What an incredible find! I discovered this restaurant by searching for nearby spots on a travel app—and I’m so glad I did. After a meaningful visit to the WWII Museum and a reflective stroll around a touching memorial, I made my way here. It’s located just across the highway—and let me say this clearly: don’t let the neighborhood’s rough edges or the sight of homeless tents deter you. Behind that door lies a culinary treasure! 🗝️🍽️ The restaurant serves a fantastic Colombian/Latin menu that’s both authentic and creative. I ordered the Shrimp Ceviche and the Whole Fried Fish—Red Snapper, as recommended by my server. In short, the ceviche was among the best I’ve ever had: generous portions of fresh shrimp, marinated in a bright citrus bath with red onion sauce, served with delicate plantain chips. Each bite was refreshing, zesty, and utterly memorable! 🍋🧅 The snapper was lightly seasoned, perfectly fried, and arrived crispy and flavorful. The portion was generous, and it came with a side of savory Colombian-style pancakes, which were a delightful and unexpected treat! 🐟🌮 The menu also features about 15 different types of arepas—yes, 15! (I’ve included a photo of the menu—you’ve got to see it to believe it!)💕 Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and vibrant energy. While lunch was on the pricier side, every dollar was worth it. Don’t miss this authentic gem! #HiddenGem #ColombianFood #CevicheLover #FriedFishPerfecto #ArepaHeaven #FoodieFind #NewOrleansEats #WorthIt 💫📸
