Our experience at The Westin Moana Surfrider was nothing short of spectacular! This historic hotel, gracefully positioned along Waikīkī's main strip, offers an ideal location paired with timeless charm. From the moment we arrived, every interaction with the staff—whether with the valet, front desk, or housekeeping—was warm, polite, and genuinely caring. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. 💖 Although the hotel is undergoing renovations, this did not disrupt our visit in any way. In fact, it was inspiring to see how the property is preserving its iconic character while embracing thoughtful updates. The location is truly unbeatable—right on Waikīkī Beach 🏖️ and within easy walking distance of all the shops, restaurants, and entertainment along the main avenue. We loved being just a 5-minute walk from the Blue Note Hawaii and Cirque du Soleil, two of the area’s top attractions! 🎵🎭 Our room, while cozy and reflecting the building’s historic origins, was clean and well-kept. The balcony offered a gorgeous view of the ocean 🌊 or the lively strip—perfect for morning coffee or evening unwind sessions. Though not a hyper-modern resort, the Moana Surfrider wins hearts with its grand presence, elegance, and soul. We also enjoyed access to a buffet breakfast and afternoon tea, and the poolside bar area—shaded by a magnificent banyan tree—was the perfect spot to relax.
