An authentic British afternoon tea for 10 pounds per person.
On a weekend stroll around South Kensington, I stumbled upon an incredibly cute and vintage afternoon tea house 🍵. There were many Korean girls in the shop taking photos 📷, and it seemed like a great spot for pictures! Moreover, with a cost of no more than 20 pounds per person, the taste is on par with the afternoon tea at high-end hotels that cost 80 pounds! 🍰 Tearoom Highlights ▪️ A cozy and charming tearoom with vintage decor that evokes the atmosphere of the last century. The European retro-style murals on the ceiling are also a highlight. Overall, it's a beautiful hidden gem of a tea house where every snapshot turns out great! ▪️ The price range of 10-25 pounds per person offers quite good value 💰. The afternoon tea set allows you to choose your preferred tea, scones, and a variety of sandwiches. ▪️ Friends agreed that the food was delicious! The freshly baked scones with butter and jam are incredibly sweet and satisfying 😋. The crispy exterior is delightfully indulgent. ▪️ There is an option to sit outside ☀️. If the weather is nice, I highly recommend sitting outdoors for a relaxed atmosphere that feels like you've been transported to the streets of southern France. ▪️ The location is convenient, not far from Kensington, Hyde Park, and Notting Hill, making it a perfect spot to stop by for a rest and some photos after shopping 📷. #UK #StudyingInUK #UKLife #HiddenGemDessertShopShare #TravelGuide #UKTravel #BritishAfternoonTea #London #LondonLife #LondonStudentHousing #LondonExplore #LondonAfternoonTea #LondonFood #WeekendGetaways #InternationalStudents #LondonStudents #Explore #AfternoonTea #LondonHotels #LondonHomestays
