This was a beautiful yet deeply moving experience that connected so much historical context with what we've learned. 10/10 β would go again. π―β€οΈ If you drive yourself instead of taking a tour bus, the only cost is parking ($7, payable via pay.gov) π ΏοΈπ³. I highly recommend reserving your visit to the USS Arizona Memorial in advance via recreation.gov π«π. While you can join the standby list, I canβt guarantee how long youβll wait for a ferry ticket β thereβs no other way to get there β΄οΈβ³. Please remember β this is a memorial built over a sunken ship where 900 servicemen lost their lives ποΈπΊπΈ. You can pay for a guided tour, but we chose to go at our own pace, see what we wanted, and stay as long as we felt moved to ππ«. Also, do not plan to bring any bag larger than a wallet β theyβre not allowed, and the rules are clearly stated πβ.
