An Italian Restaurant That Makes Pork Belly Incredibly Delicious! 🍝🇮

This fresh, minimalist Italian spot has almost become our regular canteen! The semi-industrial style offers plenty of space—perfect for keeping up with my mischievous little one 😉 I love their pasta—it highlights the natural flavors of the ingredients while blending traditional techniques with creative twists. Best of all, every dish can be ordered in a half-price kids’ size upon request! 👶🍴 The service model is pay-first, then choose your seat. Every visit has been warm and satisfying. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ LAMB LOLLIPOPS 🍖 A bit dry and just okay—the lamb chops are lean but small. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ TAGLIATELLE 🦐 Rich but not heavy. The shrimp are plump and bouncy, and the sweet roasted red peppers complement the seafood perfectly. The only hand-made pasta on the menu! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ TORTIGLIONI VERDE I bet you’ve never had pesto like this! The basil is intense with a subtle hint of mint 🌿—I usually dislike mint, but here it’s balanced perfectly. Even though I never eat olives, I picked out every one in this dish 🫒. They’re savory and bright, not overly salty, blending seamlessly into the green sauce. Each bite feels like finishing the last treat in a Martini glass 🍸✨. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ CARAMELIZED PORK BELLY PIZZA 🥓 Using pork belly as a topping on Italian pizza is genius—like a creative internet recipe come to life! The caramelized pork is lightly seasoned and a bit oily, but wait‼️ Friends‼️ Paired with the spicy house sauce, diced onions, and parsley, it becomes pure magic. The crispy onions add texture and cut through the richness while maximizing the Maillard reaction’s aroma. The crust is thicker than typical Italian style but lighter than American pizza. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ CARNE ASADA 🥩 I’d call this the “protein bomb pizza”💥—another great fusion example inspired by Mexican cuisine. Have you ever tried pizza with grilled beef shoulder and white bean purée? It’s delicious! Great for fitness folks who want high protein without too many carbs 💪🍕. Price: Around $40 per person Ambience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Salt & Olive 📍 270 S 300 E, SLC #SaltLakeCity #Utah #FoodInspiration #WeekendPlans #FoodReview #WeekendEats #MyFoodDiary #FoodShare #TodaysDinner #LocalFood #ItalianCuisine #FoodFusion #HiddenGems
