Animal Photography | Meeting Timon at Kolmården in Norrköping

🐾I just visited Kolmården Zoo in Norrköping, and holy cow—the meerkats (a.k.a. Timon from The Lion King) are obsessed with posing!!! 🐭✨ These little furballs were so curious, they’d scurry over, tilt their heads, and strike the cutest “I’m ready for my close-up” poses without any prompting. I’m talking nose twitches, paw lifts, and even a few synchronized “stand-up” moments—pure joy to photograph.🐾 ✨Kolmården is a hidden gem for animal lovers. Beyond the meerkats, the zoo is home to wolves, lynxes, and even a family of otters splashing in their enclosure. The trails are well-maintained, with shaded benches perfect for catching your breath (and editing photos!). Pro tip: Visit mid-morning when the animals are most active—they’re less shy and more likely to put on a show. 🐾 ✨I shot dozens of shots today, but only a few are edited so far. Stay tuned for a full photo recap + a detailed “Kolmården Photo Guide” later this week—including the best times to visit each enclosure, secret angles for that “wildlife documentary” vibe, and where to grab a coffee with a view of the meerkat mound. ☕📸 ✨If you’re in Norrköping (or planning a trip!), Kolmården is a must. Trust me, those meerkats will steal your heart—and your camera roll. 🐾💖 #AnimalPhotography #MeerkatMagic #LionKingVibes #SwedishWildlife #TravelDiary
