My partner and I are both yakiniku fanatics — we’ve tried Tsuruhashi before, and this time we checked out Anjin (rumored to be under the same owner, with similar décor and menu style). Here’s what we ordered (pics attached): 🥩 Wagyu Beef A5 — From Japan 🐂 Kobe Style Beef (Rib Eye) 🐂 Marbled Prime Boneless Short Rib 🐂 Marinated Raw Beef with Egg Yolk 👅 Salted Beef Tongue 🐷 Pork Belly 📍 3033 Bristol St, Costa Mesa, CA 92626 ⏰ Hours: 5 PM – 1 AM Pro tip: Arrive before opening to avoid lines — otherwise expect 1+ hour waits. Seats fill up fast since the space is cozy. The A5 Wagyu truly melted in the mouth 🫠 The marinated raw beef with yolk was flavorful and rich.
