Another Beautiful Weekend in New Orleans! 🌟🏙️

Sitting by the pool at the Royal Sonesta Hotel—where do I even begin? Well, this is my third time staying here, and from now on, it’s the only place I’ll book when I’m in NOLA. My first visit was with my best friend, and the last two were with my husband—and each stay has been absolutely wonderful. The hotel is stunning, and even though it’s located right on Bourbon Street, our suite was peaceful and quiet—a true sanctuary in the heart of the city. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, kind, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. 💖 One thing I’m especially grateful for: as a non-drinker, I truly appreciated the non-alcoholic cocktail options on the Jazz Theater menu. They were creative, refreshing, and felt just as special as the classic drinks. P.S. If you get the chance, don’t miss The Brassaholics or The Nayo Jones Experience—both shows are energetic, soulful, and highly recommended! 🎷✨ Shout-out to the bartenders at the Oasis Pool, who whipped up delicious alcohol-free Hurricanes and Mojitos just for me—so thoughtful and tasty! 🍹🍃 And lastly—but certainly not least—a heartfelt thank you to Ms. Ruthie at the Desire Bar. Having worked there for over 40 years, she embodies everything I love about the spirit of New Orleans. Her warmth, her stories, her presence—she’s a living icon and a big part of why this city remains my favorite.
