Another Flavor Explosion for the Taste Buds!
After working out, I was craving something bold and flavorful. Having tried most of LA's offerings, I realized I hadn't visited this spot yet—so here we go! Super hungry, so we went all out with four dishes: 🥬 Stir-Fried Cauliflower with Salted Pork A light and refreshing dish—not too oily, with just a hint of spice. Perfect with rice! Pro tip: eat the salted pork with the veggies to balance the saltiness. 🐂 Stir-Fried Beef Personally not my favorite. The beef is marinated, but the seasoning overpowers the meat—it feels more like eating spices than actual beef. 🍲 Chengdu-Style Mao Cai (Spicy Hot Pot Mix) ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Packed with flavor and huge portions—tripe, kelp knots, spam, beef slices, potatoes, duck blood, bean sprouts, quail eggs... 🤤 Just listing the ingredients makes me drool again. The spice level is spot-on. 🌶️ "Fire Explosion" Double Crispy (Chicken Gizzard & Pork Huanghou) Spicy, fragrant, and addictive! The combo of gizzards and pork throat is perfect, and the chopped peppers elevate the flavor. Even the celery stays crisp and aromatic—not greasy at all. The portions here are huge and prices are reasonable—four dishes easily feed four people. Heads up: if you want the Mao Cai with Roast Duck, come early! We arrived at 7:20 PM and it was already sold out 😭. #LAEats #LosAngelesFoodie #LALife #SpicyFoodHeaven
