Another great date spot in London - High-altitude Japanese Restaurant

A friend recently had a birthday, so we came to this Japanese fusion restaurant. I’d heard online that it wasn’t very good, so I didn’t have high hopes. But after trying it, I found it was actually pretty nice! It’s a great spot for dates and birthdays. 🍣 Neo Tokyo Delicious! The top is Tuna, and it has a crispy tempura shell inside with a great texture. It’s topped with spicy Mayo, and the ingredients blend together perfectly. A must-order! 🍣 TIGER MAKI Also pretty good, a bit lighter and fresher, but the wasabi flavor is quite strong, which some friends might not be able to handle. 🍥 Lobster Seviche This was recommended by the staff. The flavor isCitrusy and a bit sour, the lobster meat is very bouncy and appetizing. It’s a good choice as a starter. 🥩 Ribeye Steak The meat quality is great. We chose medium well, and it wasn’t too dry, with a nice Maillard reaction. The portion is quite generous, and it comes with bone marrow. The beef fat flavor is rich and aromatic, mixed with something like spinach bits, which doesn’t feel greasy. 🐟 Robata Black Cod Their black cod is also a signature dish. The fish has a sweet and savory taste, and the flesh isn’t too flaky. My friends from Spain love this one. 🍹 Their cocktails are also very good. The lychee one is highly recommended; it’s delicious and perfect for those who love sweet drinks. ⏰ You definitely need to book a table in advance.
