Another Pleasant Stay 🌺

This was our annual trip to the Princess Kaiulani, and this time we stayed for two and a half weeks. I had booked a king room in the tower, but since it was fully booked, we began our stay in the Princess Wing on the 9th floor with a lovely ocean view 🌊. These rooms are a bit dated, and you can see rust stains in the sink and bathtub. After four days, we moved to the 14th floor in the tower, which offered a beautiful view of Diamond Head and the ocean 🗻💙. The renovated king room was comfortable, though the walls were paper-thin – we could hear everything from the room next door 🎧🚫. The excellent staff, service, and location are why we return year after year. We’ve been coming to this hotel for at least 20 years. Over the past five years, we’ve gotten to know many special employees: Floyd is one of the dedicated and hardworking staff we’ve come to know. He used to work at the pool but was recently moved to the bell desk. He always greets us warmly and consistently goes above and beyond to make our stay memorable 👏🧳. We’d like to thank Rocky and Eric at the Splash Bar for their outstanding customer service 🍹😊. We also appreciate Rebecca, Winnie, Julie, and all the evening staff at the bar 🍸❤️. Colleen during breakfast at the restaurant was always kind and provided great service 🍳☕. We’ve known Carlos by the pool for many years – he’s fantastic and does his utmost to help everyone 🏊‍♂️💪. As Titanium members, the continental breakfast should be a full breakfast, just like at other Marriott properties.
