🟢 Antelope Canyon Road Trip｜My First Glamping Experience 🏕️

This Labor Day, we finally embarked on a journey to Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and Lake Powell! ✨ Having been in the U.S. for 17 years and visited Vegas more than 20 times, I’d never driven further—until now! This time, we made a spontaneous trip just for these iconic spots! Day One: We avoided the holiday rush by leaving on Sunday morning—smooth traffic all the way! 🚗💨 Stopped in Vegas for a long-awaited oyster bar lunch—yum! 🦪 This road trip was powered by FSD autopilot, making it relaxing and effortless. Highly recommend! 👏 We arrived around 8 PM and checked into the glamping site I’d been dreaming of—Under Canvas Lake Powell ⛺️ This is luxury camping at its finest! They have locations near major national parks like Zion, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and Bryce Canyon 🏞️ The Lake Powell location feels brand new and is open from March to October. The staff were super friendly, responsive, and helpful! Plus, there were free EV charging stations 🔋 Our tent was clean, bug-free, and well-equipped with a private bathroom and shower (a rustic manual setup—fun but requires a buddy to help hold the showerhead! The water pressure was strong though 💦). A unique experience for sure! The only downside: no AC, so it gets warm during the day. At around $450 per night, it’s totally worth it! Lake Powell is also a “World’s First Dark Sky Certified Resort” 🌌 The stargazing is unreal—the Milky Way slowly reveals itself at night, and you can capture stunning photos with just an iPhone! 📱✨ Our room was a designated sunrise-facing tent 🌅 With an completely unobstructed view, we watched the sunrise in its full glory. We’ve seen many beautiful sunsets around the world, but this was our first sunrise with friends—a magical and deeply moving experience! 💖 Have you been glamping near a national park?
