❣️The Pilat Dune is located near Bordeaux in Arcachon 🧩Take the train from Bordeaux's gare for 50 minutes to get there, then transfer to a bus to reach the dune. The bus intervals are quite long, and there are few runs, so it's best to check the schedule in advance. 🧩The stairs up take about 15 minutes to climb to the top. It's very hot and sunny in the summer, with no shade, so it's best to bring your own food, drink, and sunscreen. ❣️The most magical thing about the Pilat Dune is that one side is the ocean, and the other is a forest. Once you're up there, you have to go barefoot.
