Arrowhead Fire & Ice Skating Trail

🌟I experienced the Fire & Ice Skating event at Arrowhead Provincial Park in northern Ontario this weekend, and I declare that the Fire & Ice Skating Trail at Arrowhead Mountain will be a must-do winter activity every year! It’s truly breathtaking and full of atmosphere! After walking through a short torch-lit forest, you arrive at the starting point of the skating trail – that forest is just stunning～ 🌟It’s like a scene from a movie (you can check out my previous video to get a feel for it). At the starting point, there are lockers for personal items and skates available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis. The trail winds through the woods, and with the snowscape and bonfires, it’s incredibly romantic (especially suitable for friends in a budding romance to deepen their feelings). I went alone… 🌟There was a couple in front of me, holding hands and skating all the way… at one point, the guy suddenly skated backwards while the girl skated forwards, and they held hands, looking into each other’s eyes… Ahhh, it was a sweet attack! I quickly overtaking on a curve and skated away to not disturb their flirting… ⚠️: 🌟🌟 Make sure to buy tickets in advance! Tickets are per vehicle/$21, and there’s an additional charge for skate rentals. Book on the Ontario Park website. 🌟🌟 The event is only on Fridays and Saturdays from 6-9:00 pm. Fridays are less crowded and more recommended (there are no torches during the day, but you can still go skating; however, there are times in the middle of the day and afternoon when the trail is closed for maintenance, so it’s better to arrive around 5:40 pm, or you’ll have trouble finding parking and the ice might not be smooth). 🌟🌟 It’s extremely cold in the mountains!!! Wear more clothes & bring gloves!!! 🌟🌟 Since this is an evening event, I strongly recommend staying overnight locally for safety. I found a cozy Airbnb cabin last minute, and it was very atmospheric.
