🌺🌿Kannon-do Hall: The hall where the principal statue of Kannon (Avalokiteshvara) is enshrined.🌺🌿 🌺🌿Goju-no-To Pagoda: The original pagoda was constructed in the first year of the Keian era (1648) and,🌺🌿 🌺🌿 like the main hall, was destroyed during the Great Kanto Earthquake and later burned down in the 1945 Tokyo air raids. 🌺🌿 🌺🌿The current pagoda was reconstructed in 1973 (Showa 48).🌺🌿 🌺🌿Asakusa Shrine: The shrine (an Important Cultural Property) is located to the east of the main hall. 🌺🌿 This shrine honors the three individuals associated with the founding of Senso-ji Temple.🌺🌿 #AsakusaTemple #CulturalHeritage #SacredSites 🗼🏮️
