๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸƒKaminarimon: On the left is the statue of the Wind God, and on the right is the Thunder God. ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸƒThe official name is "Furaijin Gate," but it is commonly known as "Kaminarimon." ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ It was destroyed in the first year of the Keio era (1865) and was reconstructed with reinforced concrete about a century later in 1960 (Showa 35). ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸƒHลzลmon Gate: Flanking the gate are statues of Nio (Vajra warriors), and it was formerly called "Niomon." ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸƒAfter its reconstruction in the Showa era, it was renamed Hลzลmon. ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸƒThe name originates from the cultural property collection stored in the upper level of the gate. #AsakusaTemple #Kaminarimon #JapaneseCulturalHeritage ๐Ÿ—ผ๐Ÿฎ๏ธ
