Asheville, NC | Hidden Gems & Local Favorites 🌄🍻

Since I live relatively close by, I’ve visited Asheville at least four or five times—and it still surprises me every time! Here are some ideas to inspire your next trip: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Biltmore Estate On my first visit, I toured the mansion and gardens—so photogenic! 🏰✨ I even caught the Downton Abbey exhibition—total old-money vibes 💵. My dog absolutely loved the gardens too—sniffing every flower in sight 🌸🐕. On my second trip, I stayed at the Antler Village Hotel right inside the estate. You can shop, wine taste, hike, visit the farm, or even sign up for activities like fishing or clay shooting. So cozy to enjoy drinks by the fire with friends! 🔥🍷 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ North Carolina Arboretum This botanical garden is another Instagram dream 📸. Last time I went, there was a bonsai exhibit and a LEGO plant sculpture show—so fun! The lavender garden is incredibly romantic too 💜. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Omni Grove Park Inn Built in 1913, this historic resort has hosted countless celebrities and U.S. presidents 🏛️. Make sure to have dinner on the terrace restaurant around sunset—the view over the Blue Ridge Mountains is absolutely breathtaking 🌅. Perfect for a romantic date night with drinks 🥂. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food & Drinks So many amazing spots downtown! Here are a few favorites: Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar: Perfect for brunch! Very popular—reserve ahead or be ready to wait. Their Chicken & Waffles with a mimosa? Iconic 🍗🧇. Vinnie’s Neighborhood Italian: Not the fanciest, but truly authentic and delicious Italian food. Great value—highly recommend the Chicken Piccata 🍝. Double D’s Coffee Bus: The coffee is decent, but the bus is just too charming to resist 💕🚌. You can go inside to pick up your order—such a vibe! New Belgium Brewing Company: Basically a must-visit attraction 🍻. The campus is huge—you can tour the brewing facilities and sample a variety of craft beers in a relaxed, friendly setting. Downtown Asheville is also packed with galleries, artist studios, and boutiques—worth a dedicated wander! Would love to share more another time. Feel free to add your favorites below 👇💬. #Travel #NCWeekends #BiltmoreEstate #Asheville
