Asheville, NC | Vintage Town with an Artsy Vibe 🎨

Visited Asheville over Thanksgiving after exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains and catching the sunrise at Pretty Place Chapel ☀️⛪. Many people say this town is full of retro charm and artistic flair — and they were right! It was such a delightful place to explore 🫶🏼. My favorite spot? The double-decker bus café ! 🚌☕ Who can resist a bus + coffee combo? You get to step inside the bus to pick up your order — such a fun experience! The coffee was great too. Note: it’s cash only, and there’s no ATM nearby, so bring cash 💵. 📍 Double D’s Coffee & Desserts The town is packed with small galleries 🖼️, gift shops 🎁, antique stores, and home décor boutiques — each one unique and worth browsing. I was also pleasantly surprised by a cat café where you can enjoy a drink surrounded by adorable (and adoptable!) kitties 🐱💖. 📍 Cats at Play Cafe Asheville isn’t very big — you can easily explore it in a day.
