Austin Day Trip | Perfect Spots for a Date ๐
๐ San Ginรฉs โ 125-year-old Spanish brand ๐๐๐๐๐ 2072 S Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78704 Finally tried the famous Spanish churros Iโve been craving since watching Romantic Journey! ๐ซ The chocolate dip was delicious. One order each was a bit too much โ definitely shareable! Their croissants ๐ฅ also tasted fresh and buttery. The atmosphere was relaxed, and they offer free parking ๐ ฟ๏ธ. ๐ Aba ๐๐๐๐๐ 1011 S Congress Ave Bldg 2 Suite 180, Austin, TX 78704 This Insta-famous spot is as beautiful as it is delicious! ๐ธ I ordered the chicken skewers with rice โ tasty, though portions might be small for guys. For us girls, as long as the vibe is good and the food isnโt bad, itโs a win ๐. Highly recommend making a reservation! We got lucky with a walk-in on a Sunday around 4 PM. The patio is gorgeous, but Texas heat is no joke โ๏ธโฆ choose indoors if you canโt handle the heat! Located downtown; we found street parking behind the restaurant. The nearby shopping area is also fun to explore after your meal ๐๏ธ. ๐ Space Cowboy ๐๐๐๐๐ 1917 E 7th St, Austin, TX 78702 Such a cool spot with surprisingly delicious and refreshing drinks ๐น! The blistered shishito peppers were a great appetizer. We didnโt try mains since weโd already had lunch, but the little robot servers were fun to watch ๐ค. They also have free parking ๐ ฟ๏ธ. ๐ The Line Austin ๐๐๐๐ 111 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78701 Located on the 6th floor โ book around sunset for the best views! ๐ The vibe here is pretty chill, and overlooking Lady Bird Lake at golden hour was lovely. However, the drinks were just average compared to Space Cowboy, and the appetizers didnโt stand out. Parking was $13 for 3 hoursโฆ pretty standard for downtown Austin, but the attendant let us off without charging โ pure luck! ๐ #Austin #DateIdeas #AustinFood #TexasLife #TravelUSA
