Authentic and affordable T-bone steak for one person.

I had long known Florence for its rich culture, but I was surprised to find that its representative dish in terms of food is the simple yet robust T-bone steak. Many well-known steak restaurants in China weigh and price their steaks by the kilogram, which are meant to be shared among several people. However, this might lead to waste for those with smaller appetites or who just want to taste the steak.😻😻😻 While walking around Florence, we stumbled upon Trattoria Antellesi. The menu outside advertised a lunch special of steak and red wine for 15 euros, with a 400-gram steak that's more than enough for one person. After checking online, we found that the restaurant had good reviews and was a 4.5-star establishment with a history of 95 years. We decided to give it a try without looking for other trendy places.😀😀😀 Inside, the decor was charmingly rustic, giving off a cozy, family-run vibe that I really liked. The waitress, who spoke English, led us to the back where we discovered a hidden gem. The chef served the dishes through a small window, maintaining a traditional feel.❤️❤️❤️ We ordered two steaks and red wine. For sides, I chose roasted potatoes (inspired by the ones I had in Denmark), while the other person opted for a salad (though in the end, the starchy potatoes were more satisfying!). For dessert, we had tiramisu, which was the smoothest and most delicate one we had during our stay in Italy. It was truly excellent! If I remember correctly, the tiramisu was 5 euros per serving.🥩🥩🥩 After our meal, I checked TripAdvisor and saw that the restaurant had many other great dishes. It's a pity we were so focused on the steak. Next time, I'll definitely try something else to make up for it. As we were leaving, the waitress (who I think might be the owner's daughter) gave me a postcard with the restaurant's address, which helped me remember the long name. **Restaurant Name:** Trattoria Antellesi **Address:** Via Faenza, 9, Firenze **Phone:** +39 055 2654616 #ItalianCuisine #FlorenceFood #FlorenceRestaurantWarnings #TBoneSteak
