Autumn-Exclusive Red Leaves with Milky Blue Hot Springs 🍁💧
📍Hidden Gem in Salt Lake City 📍Fifth Water Hot Springs I’ve enjoyed fall foliage around Salt Lake City several times, but this hot spring hiking route remains my absolute favorite. Only in autumn does the spring water turn a milky blue 💙, while the leaves burst into vibrant colors 🍂🌈. The water temperature is just perfect, and some pools even feel like natural jacuzzis 🛁✨. With autumn leaves reflecting in the water, the view is simply breathtaking! The trail to the springs is also covered with fallen leaves, making the walk peaceful and beautiful 🥾🍁. Even better—it’s dog-friendly! 🐕 Yumi got to join us for a soak, which made it extra special. 🍁 Visit on a weekday if possible—weekends get extremely crowded (like a packed pot of dumplings 🥟), and parking fills up fast. We arrived at the summer parking lot at 9:30 AM on a Wednesday and got the last spot. 🍁 Best autumn views: late September to late October 🗓️ 🍁 We also came here in March when it was snowy—a totally different vibe ❄️, though the springs weren’t milky blue. Check my homepage for the Utah travel guide collection to see my earlier post! 🍁 Multiple pools are available, so even with crowds, you can usually find space. Still, weekdays are best. Each pool has a slightly different temperature, but all are wonderfully warm. 🅿️ Free with a National Parks Pass, or pay $10 per vehicle. 🌸 My full U.S. travel guide series is saved in my highlights—visit my profile to see more! 💚 Follow me for more hidden natural wonders and adventures with our two humans and one shiba pup! 🐕❤️ #SaltLakeCity #HotSprings #NaturalSprings #SLCTravel #UtahTravel #HiddenGems #AutumnColors #FallVibes #OffTheBeatenPath #HikingWithDogs
