Autumn Getaway near Pittsburgh — Seven Springs 🍂🎪

Just a 1-hour drive from Pittsburgh, Seven Springs Mountain Resort is hosting its Autumnfest on: 📅 Oct 5–6, 12–13, and 19–20 I’d only known Seven Springs as a ski resort — but it turns into a cozy fall festival hub every October! The leaves are just starting to turn, but the views from the scenic chairlift are still gorgeous 🚡🍁. The festival area is set around the base of the chairlift. You can buy individual activity tickets for $19 each or a Day Pass for $66 There’s so much to do: Alpine slide 🛷 Kayaking & paddle boating 🚣♀️ Mini rock climbing & bounce houses for kids Food and drink stalls 🍂🍻 The kayaking lake near the chairlift’s top station glows under the midday sun — absolutely stunning! This area is also a known stargazing spot later at night 🌌. Indoor activities are in full swing too (many were closed last time I came for a conference!). Now open: Bowling 🎳 Mini golf ⛳ Axe throwing 🪓 Arcade games 🎮 Indoor & outdoor pools 🏊♂️ The resort is huge — even with a map, it feels like a maze! We easily hit 10,000 steps exploring around 😂. We also booked the buffet dinner 🍽️ — they’ve switched to a special festive menu! After dark, we’re planning to hit the stargazing spot nearby.
